As program funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP), we are required to attend an annual conference in Washington, D.C. 
The conference was great (as usual!) and included a "Reception on the Hill" at the Russell Senate Building.  This year's trip was a bit different than past years though, because we decided that instead of flying, we'd ride the Amtrak train up and back.  It was very cool!
