Outside of work: I'm "Wife" to my best friend Michael and "Mom" to three amazing young adults (20-year-old son with Tourette's Syndrome, ADD, and OCD; 18-year-old daughter with visual impairment and OCD, and 16-year-old son).
Also, I'm a reformed smoker! After smoking cigarettes my entire adult life, I quit at midnight on December 31, 2006 and haven't had a single puff since -- and never, ever will again!
So last year was all about quitting smoking... this year is all about getting FIT! I have a medical condition that makes it very hard to lose weight but I am one determined lady! I am carb-counting, ellipticalling, bicycling, dancing, and exercising toward my goals. =D
