Early July 2007, we were gearing up for our participation in the annual Make 'm Smile event in downtown Orlando (a really cool event, click here for a link).  We really wanted the VIP kids (children with disabilities) that came to our booth to enjoy their visit, so we planned to give out cool treats: watermelon slices and drink boxes!

Our Parent Trainer, Anna "Mennona" Brynild, made one quick phone call and without hesitation, we had all the watermelons we'd need!

THEN, in December 2007, we participated in a Christmas Parade and the Mennonas came through AGAIN!!!  They donated 100 oranges for us to give out as our float went down the road.  The smiles on the faces of those 100 people who were handed an orange were amazing and wonderful to see!
