Collaboration VS. Confrontation

"What is tolerance?—it is the consequences of humanity.

We are all formed of frailty and error; let us pardon reciprocally

each other’s folly—that is the first law of nature. "

Voltaire

"An angry man opens his mouth and shuts his eyes."

Cato the Elder

Often the largest barrier to effective interaction between parents and professionals (as well as between organizations) is harboring resentment over negative history and making judgments about the motives of others based on that negative history.  When working with parents, educators, and service providers CFPC Staff will focus on assisting individuals with letting go of negative history and being nonjudgmental, so as to “keep their eye on the ball” which is always the best interests of the child.
